Good news: Charlize Theron and Robert Downey Jr. are a couple more stars you can expect to see at the Academy Awards this Sunday. According to People.com, the team behind the ceremony announced Theron, Downey Jr., and a slew of other stars who’ll be presenting Oscars to the winners yesterday.
Theron scored a Best Actress prize in 2003 for her turn as a killer in Monster, and she’s a constant fixture on the red carpet (we can’t wait to see her gown!) As for Downey, he was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category last year for Tropic Thunder but lost out to the late Heath Ledger. And even though he didn’t score a nod this time around for Sherlock Holmes, he did win a Golden Globe award for that performance.

Charlize attended John Galliano’s Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Ready-to-wear Fashion show a few days ago. She was also seen attending The Hurt Locker’s Oscar nomination celebration. Check out photos of Charlize from the event!
The actress had the company of her mother, Greta, and members of her charity group, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, during the tour.
She distributed electric keyboards to every school she visited, in an attempt to support arts education. The Monster star also spoke to pupils, advising them to complete their studies, reports the Daily Star.
Theron revealed plans to provide sports facilities and better access to water across the impoverished Umkhanyakude district.

Actress Charlize Theron has ended her nine-year relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townsend, according to a British report.
The South African beauty has been dating the Shooting Fish star since they met on the set of 2002 movie Trapped.
But U.K. newspaper the Mail on Sunday claims the couple has now parted ways, with Townsend allegedly moving out of their shared home in the Hollywood Hills.
The report follows a stream of rumors about their relationship after Theron was recently spotted out in public without the beloved antique ring she wears to show her commitment to Townsend.
A source tells the publication, “They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it. Charlize has remained in their main home in the Hollywood Hills while Stuart has moved all his stuff into their Malibu beach home that they own together. They are sorting out their financial affairs at the moment, as they have been together for so long that many of their financial affairs are intertwined.
“She truly loved Stuart but the relationship ran its course. He is heartbroken but she is insisting it is all over.”
In a recent interview Townsend admitted he considered the Oscar-winner his wife, even though they never legally married. He said, “We consider ourselves husband and wife. We love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together.”
